EduKent, a division of Kent County Council, provides a range of more than thirty education support services, from HR to catering to school improvement. EduKent approached us looking for a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool which all of their existing service providers could use.
Creating a single CRM application to meet the needs of more than thirty service providers was a challenge. Each manages their own customers in different ways and offers a range of different products and services. Each would require its own bespoke reporting.
EduKent wanted a management application that would deliver meaningful reports showing each service provider its own sales activity. Above all, they needed something user friendly that would interpret and report on sales consistently, across every provider.
We met with each service provider and configured our SPIRIT CRM application to meet each one’s requirements precisely. We designed and set up bespoke reports for their managers and developed individual functionality where needed. Each service provider now uses our SPIRIT CRM to log activities with schools and other customers, to book visits and to store relevant documents against the school(s) they are working with.
As a result, EduKent now has an application that is consistent and uniform across all service providers. It is easily accessible and stores all sales activity data in one place. The EduKent team is able to look at market penetration and run reports for their service providers automatically, which would have had to be run manually before.
EduKent is planning to have all thirty service providers on board and working with the system during this academic year. Meanwhile, we are working with the most active service providers to develop more functionality, and introduce further enhancements. We are currently working on an integration with Outlook over the coming months.
