Our work with WWF goes back more than 20 years across a wide variety of educational projects in primary and secondary schools.

WWF have a long history of working with schools, having lobbied to ensure that sustainable development was an important element of the UK National Curriculum back in 1999. Their work with schools inspires and supports young people to develop their skills, and explore their values so they're motivated and equipped to enjoy and care for our beautiful planet.

Our work with WWF goes back more than 20 years across a wide variety of educational projects in primary and secondary schools.

WWF have recently launched a new series of class workshops at their state of the art workspace at The Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey. They needed an application to enable schools to view the workshops on offer, check their availability and book online.

We worked with the WWF team to design and build a bespoke web based interface where teachers could view and book available workshops quickly and easily. The interface featured a calendar that allowed teachers to view both available and booked workshops, as well to filter them by workshop type.

We integrated the booking system with WWF’s SPIRIT CRM application so that the WWF marketing team could monitor and update workshop availability using tools with which they were already familiar. We also provided reporting tools so that WWF could track and record activity in the run up to each workshop. Finally, we devised a sequence of reminder emails designed to boost attendance rates.

The workshops have been a huge success with booking levels at nearly twice original expectations. In fact, demand has been so high that WWF has had to add new dates as well as additional workshop types.

“The Education Company made the booking process simple and efficient. They provided us with new software which transformed the way we make bookings.”
